Donald Lee Mullenix, of Show Low, Navajo County, Arizona passed away on July 29, 2015 at his home surrounded by his loved ones. He was 83. Donald was born on September 11, 1931 in Baldwin Park, Los Angeles County, California to his parents, the late Harvey and Elizabeth (McElhannon) Mullenix. He was a Veteran of the United States Army having served in Korea before being honorably discharged. He was a Life Member of the VFW Post #9907 in Show Low, Arizona. A retired truck driver, Donald and wife, Cherrie spent many years on the road RVing and camping all over the country. They were always on the go before their declining health kept them home. A loving husband, father, grandfather and friend, Donald will be dearly missed by all. He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Cherrie of Show Low; children, Donna Holloway (Dan Sorenson) of Show Low, Linda Stacy of Show Low, Eugene Mullenix (Genevive) of Chandler, Arizona and Trudie Lee (Rich) of Boise, Idaho; grandchildren, Michael Quick, Chad Quick, Scott McDonald, Daniel Mullenix, Brain Mullenix, Amy Mullenix, Vanessa Munjoy and Kris Munjoy, Eugene Mullenix Jr., Tyrone Stacy, Thomas Stacy, Kyra Sorenson, Rick Lee and Kassy Floyd; 31 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Paul, Doyle, Dean, Kenneth and a sister, Doris. Memorial services will be held 1:00 P.M. Saturday August, 8, 2015 at the VFW Post #9907, 381 N. Central, Show Low.
