Robert Joseph Pesl died Thursday, July 23, 2015, at his home in Concho, Apache County, Arizona with his longtime companion, and best friend, Roxann, by his side. He was 69 years old. Robert was also born on a Thursday, June 6, 1946, in Manhattan, New York to his parents, the late Joseph Frank and Helen (Franc) Pesl. Throughout his life, Robert worked as a cable splicer for the telephone company. He was a simple man and enjoyed the simple things in life. In his younger years, Robert loved to be in the great-out-of-doors, hunting and fishing. He moved to Arizona on Valentine's Day, 2002 with the love of his life, Roxann. Robert had a knack for prospecting and was quite active with his prospecting club. He enjoyed prospecting for gold in the mountains surrounding Globe, Arizona and experienced some success doing so. He is survived by his life's partner of 36 years, Roxann Marie Revert of Concho, Arizona; sister, Mildred (Ed) Javurek of Granville, New York; nephew, Kenneth Javurek of Granville, New York; Roxann's children: Lynn Marie of Horton, Kansas and James Fowle of Show Low, Arizona. He also was the loving "Papa" to Zachary, Courtney, Candace, Becky and the twins, Alex & Abby. No services are planned at this time. Memorial Contributions to Pet Allies: P.O.
