Patty Sue Johnson

Patty "Pat" Sue Johnson, age 79, passed away on Monday, July 20, 2015 at her home in Show Low, Arizona. She was born July 19, 1936 in Thomasville, North Carolina to Dock Edward Hall and Mary Leona Reed Hall. Pat met the love of her life in early 1955, when she met Bruce. They later were married on May 8, 1955 in Washington, DC. She was a good Christian woman with strong values. She loved her family more than anything, especially her grandchildren. Pat was a woman who loved to read, work in the garden, watch birds and the out-of-doors in general. She was an independent woman who made her own decisions and had a mind of her own. Pat will leave lasting memories for her family and those that knew and loved her. She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Bruce, of Show Low, Arizona; 3 children: Rae (Jim) Anderson of Yuma, Arizona, Lea Susan (Craig) Marshall of Beaufort, South Carolina, and Stephen (Elaine) Johnson of Yuma, Arizona. 8 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. A brother: Fred (Hazel) Hall of Abingdon, Virginia. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, July 31, 2015 at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 1550 So. 14th Ave. in Yuma, Arizona. Arrangements were handled thru Owens Livingston Mortuary-White Mountain Chapel in Show Low, Arizona.
