Sharon Lynn Allen, "DJ Cheron", of Whiteriver, Navajo County, Arizona passed away following a lengthy illness on June 2, 2015 in Mesa, Maricopa County, Arizona. She was 37. Sharon was born on June 7, 1977 in Phoenix, Maricopa County, Arizona to her parents, Lanford and Marina (Gregg) Allen. She attended the Sherman Indian High School in Riverside, California before returning to Whiteriver. She enjoyed playing basketball and many other sports. She worked as a firefighter for the Tribal Forestry before becoming a DJ at the KNNB radio station in Whiteriver where she was known as DJ Cheron. She is survived by her parents, Lanford Allen of San Carlos, Arizona and Marina Allen of Whiteriver; sisters, Phyllis Lupe of Phoenix, Fina Patterson of Whiteriver, Davina Patterson of Phoenix, Rosarita Endfield of Cibecue and a brother, Isaiah Allen of Whiteriver. She was preceded in death by a brother, Kenneth Patterson. A two night wake will begin 10:00 A.M. Thursday June 11, 2015 at her home, 3102 N. Yellowbrick Road, Whiteriver. Funeral services will be held 1:00 P.M. Saturday June 13, 2015 at the Canyon Day Miracle Church with Pastor Keith Matthews. Interment will follow in the Sunny Side Cemetery in Cibecue, Arizona.
