Colleen Lupe of Cibecue, Navajo County, Arizona passed away on May 30, 2015 in Globe, Gila County, Arizona. She was 62. Colleen was born to her parents the late Oliver Gass Sr. and Nellie Kasey in Overgaard, Navajo County, Arizona on November 29, 1952. A loving wife of 43 years to her husband Rev. Enoch Lupe Sr., Colleen was an extremely dedicated mother and grandmother. She enjoyed nothing more than spending time with her family, always making sure that her children and grandchildren were taken care of. An excellent cook, her family always looked forward to her delicious meals that she would prepare for every gathering. She enjoyed spending as much time with her sisters as well as all her extended family. Colleen had an amazing love for the Lord and spent many nights reading her bible. She attended church as often as possible and enjoyed seeing her church family. She loved watching her favorite T. V. shows, The Golden Girls, Family Feud and the Cooking Channel and completing her fill in puzzles. Throughout her life Colleen had the opportunity to travel to many places and enjoyed sharing her many stories she encountered along the way. Colleen is survived by her loving husband, Rev. Enoch Lupe Sr.; daughters, Rhonda Lupe, Ena (Gabriel) Henry, Shyne Lupe and Twila (Austin) Kee; sons, Enoch Lupe Jr., Lionel Lupe and Dino (Fernanda) Lupe all of Cibecue; 4 Godchildren; 14 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; sisters, Delores Reidhead, Lorraine Jaffe, Dorothy Quail, Audrey Mix and Olive (Gerald) Thompson and her dog, Whitetail. She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Joshua Lupe; grandson, Holyan Dale; granddaughter, Gabrielynn Truax; sister, Jerry Kasey and her brothers, Oliver Gass Jr., and Richard Gass. A two night wake will be held at the family home, 304 West White City Street, Cibecue on Saturday, June 6, 2015 at 10:00A.M.. Funeral services will be held 1:00P.M. Monday, June 8, 2015 at the Cibecue Miracle Church with the interment to follow in the Lupe Family Plot in Cibecue.
