Mary Jane Clendon, 78, was called to her heavenly home on May 9, 2015. She was born on April 8, 1937 to Alonzo and Mary Walker. Mary Jane was raised in East Fork, Arizona. She attended East Fork Mission School as a young girl. She attended Whiteriver Assembly of God faithfully since becoming saved at 22 years old. She served as the Sunday school teacher for the adult Apache speaking class. She enjoyed cooking, sewing, traveling and was a homemaker. She was married for 55 years and raised her family in Rainbow City. She is survived by her husband, Johnny Clendon; daughters: Theda, Marna & Marlinda and sons: Veldon, Jonathan & Rudy and their families. She had two godchildren: Amanda White and Cassius Ethelbah. She had many grandchildren and great grandchildren. The wake begins on May 15, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at her home in Rainbow City and the funeral will be on May 17 at 2 p.m. at Whiteriver Assembly of God Church. Interment will be at Dove Cemetery in East Fork, Arizona.
