Darren Russell Aadland

Darren Russell Aadland, age 50, passed away on Sunday, May 3, 2015. He was born in Tempe, Arizona in 1964 and was raised in Scottsdale, Arizona. He is survived by his loving wife and caregiver of 31 years, Robin Marie Aadland; his beloved sons, Dustin Russell Aadland (Vanessa), Jonathon Robert Aadland and Gregory Darren Aadland; mother, Georgia Aadland; siblings, Elizabeth, Chip, Kirsten, and Danon. He was preceded in death by his father, Donald, Aadland. Darren was one of Jehovah's Witnesses since 1980 and loyally and actively shared his faith until the end of his life. He was a firm believer in the Bible teaching of the resurrection and loved to share that hope with all. He raised his family in Santa Maria, California, and returned to Arizona in 2000. He loved hunting, fishing, and the outdoors but his greatest passion was his family and friends. He suffered ill health for the past 20 plus years, but in spite of his medical condition he was a source of encouragement to all those who knew him. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday May 16, 2015 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 201 E. Whipple Road, Show Low, Arizona.
