Amund "Frank" Fulmer, 92, of Overgaard, Arizona, passed away April 26, 2015. Frank was born May 26, 1922 in Valier, Montana to Merle and Ruth Fulmer. In 1935, the family, including his two brothers Merle and Eugene, moved to Independence, Oregon. Frank was a decorated WWII Veteran having served in the Navy in the South Pacific. After the war, he met and married his wife Bettie in 1946 in Independence. They moved to Phoenix, Arizona in 1957 to raise their family. After Frank retired, they moved to Overgaard in 1981. After 59 years of marriage, Bettie passed away in 2005. Frank passed on his love for the outdoors, compassion, sense of humor, and strong work ethic to all of his children and grandchildren. He is survived by his brother Merle Fulmer, five children Llyn Fulmer, Greg (Bessie) Fulmer, Christy (Don) Basile, Kim (Harvey) Johnson, and Shannon (Bill) Cusimano; his nine grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 12:30 P.M. Sunday, May 10, 2015 at the Owens Livingston Mortuary~White Mountain Chapel, 320 N. 9th St., Show Low, AZ with a viewing to be held one hour prior to services. Interment will be in the Show Low Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the White Mountain Hospice Foundation, PO Box 1975, Lakeside, Arizona 85929 in Frank's name.
