Our beloved mother and grandmother, Lorna M. Snoddy, went home to be with the Lord on April 6, 2015 in Glendale, Maricopa County, Arizona. She was born in Port Angeles, Clallam County, Washington on August 17, 1946 to Allen and Lorna (Rogers) Waldron. Not only was she the best mother and Nanna, she was also the best confidant and friend to her children and grandchildren. You could tell her anything and she would respond in love to you and she would pray with you and help in any way she could. She didn't just say she was a Christian , as she truly loved God and served Him to the best of her ability. She taught each of her children the love of God. She used to cook stews and take them along with blankets to feed the homeless here in Holbrook back in the late 90's and early 2000's. She hated to see anyone suffer. Our mother was a quiet person but she loved people and she truly loved her family. She leaves behind her grieving family: son, Simeon Snoddy, son, Wayne Snoddy, Jr., daughter, Lorri (Kevin) Turner, daughter, Farrel Snoddy and daughter, Sarah (Travis) Fountain as well as her grandchildren, Stephanie, Jessica, Anthony, Matthew, Philip, Lorna Mae, Saracah, Travis Jr., Nicholas, Elizabeth and several great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne Marquise Snoddy, Sr.; son, Kevin Allen Snoddy and her parents, Allen and Lorna Waldron. There will be a viewing for close family and friends 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, April 14, 2015 at the Owens Livingston Mortuary~Holbrook Chapel, 409 N. 1st Ave., Holbrook with a graveside service to follow at 2:00 P.M. at the Holbrook Cemtery. "We all love you Mama and say see you soon and God be with you and keep you safe."
