Carol Anne Seay, 63, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, March 26, 2015 in her home. She was born Carol Anne Heath on January 1, 1952 in Phoenix, Arizona and was one of three children. Carol is survived by her husband of 42 years, Jimmy Seay, her two children: Michelle Heilman and Jason Seay; granddaughters: Brianna Heilman, Olivia Seay, & Sierra Seay and grandson: Jayden Seay. Carol gave her life to the Lord in 1993 and has attended church ever since. Carol was a devout Christian and founded and directed the children's ministry at Cornerstone Community Church. It brought her great joy to be able to help out any way she could. She always blessed others by sending them a card, giving them a word of encouragement, or giving them a much needed hug. She always seemed to know what to say or do to make someone feel better. She loved the outdoors and would camp every chance she got. That was her favorite place to be. When Carol was little, she wanted to be a cowboy. She was a very patient and gentle person. She was very quiet but also had a very funny sense of humor. She was also incredibly talented and made the most amazing crafts. She was an incredible cook and everyone wanted her recipes. Carol had so much perseverance. Even when she was not feeling well, she would always make others feel better and was far more concerned for others instead of herself. In the face of adversity, she would find a way to overcome any obstacle where most people would give up. She was an incredible woman with great faith. She was admired by many. She never complained or made you feel sorry for her. She was a beautiful person inside and out. She was a beloved wife, mother and grandmother. Carol's joy in life was being around her family. Spending time with her grandchildren meant the world to her. That was more precious to her than anything money could buy. She also loved curling up with her dog, Sadie. We were so blessed to have her as long as we did. We all loved her dearly and we miss her so much. Carol's services are Saturday, April 4, 2015 at 11:00 am at the Calvary Chapel of the White Mountains. There will be a reception immediately following at the Blue Ridge Elementary School Cafeteria.
