Donald Edward Lindquist, of Show Low, Navajo County, Arizona went to be with the Lord on March 28, 2015 in Tucson, Pima County, Arizona. He was 81. Don was born on November 9, 1933 in the village of Wood, Mellette County, South Dakota to Arvid Edward and Effie May (Kinkade) Lindquist. Don served in the United States Navy for a brief time before being medically discharged and then serving in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. He was honorably discharged from the Army after 3 years of service. He had a strong love for fishing and his life-long work of Auto body repair, a trade he taught his sons and grandsons, until his health forced him slowly from each. He loved his family and enjoyed the family get-togethers, whether large or small. Don leaves behind his loving wife of 57 years, Mary; sons, Tony (Lorraine), Eddie (Tammy); daughters, Kathy (Willie), Jan (Wayne); 20 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; brother, Lloyd; sister, Geraldine; sister-in-laws, Lorraine and Patricia as well as a brother-in-law, Percy. A viewing and visitation will be held 10:00 A.M. Friday, April 3, 2015 at the Owens Livingston Mortuary~White Mountain Chapel, 320 N. 9th St., Show Low with the funeral service to follow at 11:00 A.M.
