Isidro David Garcia

Isidro David Garcia, 68 years old, died on March 11, 2015 at Summit Healthcare Regional Medical Center in Show Low, Arizona, under the care of Hospice. He is survived by 5 children: Steven Garcia from Oregon, Roy (Christy) Garcia from Maricopa, Arizona, Karlee Garcia from Show Low, Arizona, Juan Garcia form Conner, Texas and Alena Garcia also of Conner, Texas; 5 grandchildren; 3 sisters: Gloria (Bill) Hargett, Delfina (Bob) Mercer and Ernestina Garcia, and lots of nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents: Ramon and Magdalena Garcia, three brothers and two sisters. David, as most people knew him, served in the United States Navy. After his discharge he worked at the Paper Mill and then went to work at road construction. He suffered a heart attack at the age of 45 and was unable to work after that. He was a good car mechanic and did a little of that until his next heart attack and then was unable to work at all. His family wants to thank all the staff at Summit Hospital that was involved with his care, they were wonderful, as was Hospice when they took over his care.
