Margaret Jean Reece

On March 4, 2015, Margaret Jean Reece went to be with the Lord in Show Low, Navajo County, Arizona at the age of 88. She was born on January 1, 1927 in Junction City, Geary County, Kansas to Rhoda M. Martins and Robert Herman Martins. Margaret was better known as "Jeannie" by family and her late husband, Dwight H. Reece. She married Dwight on March 21, 1944 in Salinas, California leading them to 70 wonderful years of marriage. She was a devoted wife who loved God and her family. She had many friends at the Valley View Baptist Church in Snowflake, Arizona whom she loved dearly and will miss them very much. She spent a large portion of her life as a pianist at Mountain Park Baptist Church in Phoenix, Arizona. She is survived by her 4 children: Robert Dwight Reece of Phoenix, Arizona, Linda Ann Fitzpatrick of Show Low, Brian Wayne Reece of Show Low and Duane Miles Reece of Show Low; 7 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Dwight and 3 sisters and 1 brother. She was loved beyond measure and will be greatly missed. Funeral services will be held 10:00 A.M. Saturday, March 14, 2015 at the Valley View Baptist Church, 1212 W. Main, Snowflake, Arizona with a graveside service to follow at 1:30 P.M. in the Show Low Cemetery where she will be laid to rest by her late husband Dwight.
