Erna Wool Nozie

In Loving Memory of Erna Wool Nozie, age 75: who was born on August 27, 1939, went home to our heavenly Father on January 28, 2015, in Lakeside, Arizona. Erna had numerous job positions which included hotel housekeeping and retired as a food service worker with East Fork Lutheran School and the Whiteriver Unified School District. Erna loved to crochet; reading her bible, picking acorns and watching her two sons play baseball and her favorite basketball teams the San Antonio Spurs and Sacramento Kings. Erna is survived by her husband of 50 years Willie Nozie Jr. of Bylas, AZ, one daughter Katie Nozie and three sons: Weslee, Timmy and Leron Nozie. She had one sister: Rita Declay and three Brothers Jimmy Newhall, Johnny Newhall and Johnny Joe Nastivar. She also had six half sisters & one half brother. Erna is also survived by her grandkids: Robyn, Shareef, Tillman "Chipper", Kwamie Nozie, Montel "Baby Moe" Danford & Mervin Declay Jr, Terry Don, LaRon & JW Nozie and great grandkids: Kayoni & Amber Jackson and Collin Hooke. Erna was preceded in death by her daughter Rolanda Kay Nozie, her mother Freda Newhall and her two brothers: Ernest Newhall Jr. & Robert Vataha Sr. Erna Nozie's body will be brought back to her residence in 7 mile at 3221 Fort Apache Road, House#49, starting Friday February 6, 2015 at 9:00AM for a one night awake. Her funeral will be on Saturday February 7, 2015 at 9:00AM at East Fork Lutheran Church with Pastor Dave Parsons and Pastor Adam Horneber officiating. Interment will be at the 7-mile Solid Rock Cemetery family plot.
