Althea Rose Yazzie

Althea Rose Yazzie, age 68, passed away on Saturday, January 24, 2015 at Flagstaff Medical Center in Flagstaff, Arizona. She was born April 18, 1946 in Ganado, Arizona to Guy Morgan Hubbard, Sr. and Ruth Cecilia Becenti Hubbard. Althea was a loving wife, mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, great grandmother and friend to everyone she knew and met. She especially loved her grandchildren and would do anything for them to see that they were happy. Her favorite thing was to travel to Hawaii to see her grandchildren that live there. Althea and Bennie were married for 46 years. She is survived by her husband: Bennie Yazzie, 3 children: Floyd (Teela) Yazzie, Cheryl Yazzie and Bennie Yazzie, Jr., 9 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren, 2 brothers: Wilford Hubbard and Cecil Hubbard, and 1 sister: Gloria Balentine. She has gone to join her parents, a son and a brother in heaven. Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 30, 2015 at 11:00 am at the Living Waters Baptist Church in Sanders, Arizona, where a visitation will be held beginning at 10:00 am. Burial will follow at the McCarrell Cemetery in Chambers, Arizona. Services were handled thru Owens Livingston Mortuary in Holbrook, Arizona.
