Josephine Antonia Price died early Monday morning, December 22, 2014 at her home in Show Low, Navajo County, Arizona following a brief illness. She was 92 years old. She was born on March 29, 1922 in Cameron, Milam County, Texas to her parents, the late Joseph and Antonia (Slovak) Hubnik. Josephine was one of seven children, including one who survives her, Jodie Frank Hubnik, who is 80 years old and lives in Gilmer, Texas. She married Marvin Lee Price, Sr. on October 3, 1938 in Harlingen, Texas. They were married nearly 70 years at the time of his death in 2008. They lived in Harlingen, McAllen, Falfurrias and Corpus Christi, Texas and Northwest Arkansas before moving to Arizona in 1973, where she has since resided. She became one of Jehovah's Witnesses in March of 1953, while living in Corpus Christi, Texas. Upon moving to Arizona, she joined Show Low's Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses and remained an active witness for Him until her death. She dedicated her life to teach others about the Bible and has accumulated a number of "letters of recommendation" over the past 63 years, since learning the "truth." She is survived by her 3 children: Katherine Lee Price of Show Low, Arizona, Rosemary Lynn-Ami (Farrell James Ami) of Snowflake, Arizona, Marvin Lee Price, Jr. (Patricia Ann "Patty") of Holbrook, Arizona; 3 grandchildren: Naomi Pearson, Mike Waller, Kelly Price; 8 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great-grandchildren. In addition to her family, Josephine leaves many, many friends who will miss her warm and gentle smile. Private Services were held.
