Roger Smelser

In loving memory of Roger Harold Smelser who passed away on December 15, 2014 in Show Low, Navajo County, Arizona. He was 77. He was born near Lancaster, Ohio to his parents the late, Harold and Garnet Smelser. Roger is survived by his sons, Kurtiss, Kurbie and Kelley Smelser, their mother, Janet Joy Smelser (Mettie) and their families; siblings, Norma, Don and Judy. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Rogena Joy Stevens. Roger served in the United States Air Force from 1954 to 1959. Roger was a truck driver, but was also known as a "Jack of All Trades." Roger will be best remembered for his love of country music, ease of social conversation, and the way he wheeled and dealed. Memorial services will be held 5:00P.M. Friday, December 19, 2014 at the Owens Livingston Mortuary~White Mountain Chapel, 320 N. 9th St., Show Low, Arizona.
