Jacqueline Beamer, of Show Low, Navajo County, Arizona passed away following a brief illness on December 4, 2014 in Lakeside, Navajo County, Arizona. She was 74. Jackie was born to her parents the late, Charles Kenneth and Ailene (Coleman) Beamer on February 27, 1940 in Monterey Park, Los Angeles County, California. At a very young age Jackie always wanted to be a teacher and after attending college she obtained a Master's Degree in Education. She taught K-8 for the Arcadia Unified School District in Arcadia California for 39 years before her retirement. Jackie received numerous awards for a musical program that she was very proud of. She loved the children and enjoyed the many life-long friendships that she made while teaching. Jackie was a very outgoing and loving person. She enjoyed traveling and one of her greatest accomplishments was her first solo flight as a pilot. She treasured her many motorcycle rides through the Black Hills with her best friend and sister, Kathy. Together they owned the "Trail Boss" feed store in Azusa, California and for years they showed award winning horses and dogs. Jackie was a past Honor Queen for Jobs Daughters of Bethel #281 in San Gabriel, California. A wonderful sister and friend Jackie will be missed by all. She is survived by her sister, Kathy Beamer of Show Low, Arizona. Private services are planned. In lieu of flowers Jackie's family has requested that donations be made to the Wounded Warrior fund or the Alzheimer's Research in Jackie's name.
