David Allen Favro, was born August 29, 1936 and left this world peacefully at home with family at his side. He was born in Cadyville, New York and moved to Phoenix in the early 1960's with his parents. He enjoyed playing the violin as a young man. He also loved ice skating on the lakes in New York and in Flagstaff. When he was young he played on a semi pro baseball team as a catcher. He loved to hunt, fish, golf, and was an avid bowler for many years. He was married to the love of his life, Bonnie, for 41 years. They lived in Safford where he worked for Empire Machinery and later moved to Show Low in 1978. He retired from Empire after 44 faithful years as the parts and service manager. He loved all of his kids and grandkids as much as anybody could. He was preceded in death by his parents Cy and Thelma Favro and two brothers Ronnie & Gary Favro. He is survived by his wife Bonnie, daughter Renee Favro, son Curt Favro (Kelly),stepson Richard Fowler (Ada) and step daughter Lori Kennedy; 12 grandkids, 12 great grandkids and 1 great-great grandchild. A memorial service will be held on Friday, December 19, 2014 at 2:00 P.M. at Owens Livingston Mortuary at 320 N. 9th St., Show Low, Arizona.
