Orville Max Peterson, most beloved husband, father and grandfather passed away peacefully in his home on December 1, 2014 at 90 years of age. He is preceded in death by his loving wife Billie Louise Hamblin Peterson and eldest daughter Arlie (Alan) Porter. He is survived by his children Julie (Marvin) Kerby, Steven (Peggy) Peterson, Catherine (Fred) Smith, David Irving Peterson, Frank (Beth) Peterson and David Andrew Peterson. Upon returning with honor from serving his country in World War II, he served a two-year mission with Neil A. Maxwell to the Toronto, Quebec Mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. He will be remembered most for his example, wisdom, dedication and devotion to his children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, eternal sweetheart and loving wife of 65 years, and his kind humorous, and patient service to all. Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 6, 2014 at 9:00 A.M. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 21915 E. Cloud Road in Queen Creek, Arizona. Viewing will be at 8 A.M., also at the church. Concluding service and interment will follow at 4:00 P.M., Saturday, at the Lakeside Cemetery located on Larson Road in Lakeside, Arizona. Local arrangements were handled thru Owens Livingston Mortuary-White Mountain Chapel in Show Low, Arizona.
