Rowena (Betty) Reeve, 87, passed away September 30, 2014 at the home of her grandson, Tim (Tracie) Button in Show Low. Betty was born in the state of New York. She lost her battle with colon cancer. Betty was married to Robert M Button, NY for 13 years and had three sons. She moved to AZ in 1964. In 1971, Betty married Harvey (Wally) Reeve, however he passed away in 1985 and left her a long time widow. Betty started working for Mountain Bell in 1943 as a switch board operator. She retired in 1981 and moved to Show Low in 1989. Betty was known for her passion in quilting and she was a member of the Red Hat Society. Betty is survived by two sons, Jay K Button, Glendale AZ and Robert M Button, Mesa AZ. She has a daughter-in-law, Judy Button-Kay that called her MOM. Betty was blessed with 8 grandchildren, all with the last name BUTTON; Tim (Tracie), Richy (Christy), Mark, Todd, Tracy, Donald, Bobby, and Walter. She has 14 great grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Betty's sister; Charlotte passed away in 1970, leaving Five young children in which she raised three nephews; Michael, William and Shawn White. Betty's sister, Sandra Wilson, of CA raised the other two, Kelly and Colleen. Betty also has two brothers living, James Wilson of MO and Bruce Wilson of NY. Betty was preceded in death by her middle Son, David R Button; March 2012; her Sister, Charlotte; two brothers, Raymond & Robert and her nephew, Michael White.
