Timothy Emil Pacheco, of Lakeside, Navajo County, Arizona suddenly passed away on September 03, 2014 in Globe, Gila County, Arizona. He was 52. Tim was born to his parents, Trinidad Pacheco and Gloria Romero in Tempe, Maricopa County, Arizona on October 6, 1961. A Veteran of the United States Army, Tim was stationed at Ft. Bragg, North Carolina and was part of the first sniper teams. He served in the 82nd Airborne Division and was part of the Presidential 100 for his shooting ability. He was honorably discharged after 3 years of service. Tim had a love of the great outdoors. He was an avid fisherman, competitive archer, excellent hunter and enjoyed camping. He loved to take his family to the river and cherished the many memories spent with them. He loved all kinds of sports and he especially loved to play softball and golf. Tim worked for the Arizona Water Company starting out in Overgaard and finishing in San Manuel; a job he held for 19 years. He loved working with the people there and cherished his many friendships. Tim had a great appreciation for life. He was very level headed and always put everyone above himself. He touched so many lives and will be forever missed. Tim's family was more important than anything else. His love for them was unlike any other and, he constantly strived to make as many memories with them as possible. He was always with the love of his life, Kristi. Tim and Kristi each felt that they practically grew up together! They had a 4 year courtship and were married on January 7, 1986 in Lakeside and most recently celebrated their 28th wedding anniversary. He is survived by his loving wife, Kristi Pacheco of Lakeside, Arizona; sons, Gregory Pacheco of Idaho and Aaron Pacheco of Glendale, Arizona; father, Trinidad Pacheco of Lakeside; mother, Gloria Pacheco of Show Low, Arizona; sisters, Tina Mead of Surprise, Arizona and Tanya Pacheco of Surprise; brothers, Terry Pacheco of Show Low and Greg (Angel) Strauss of Farmington, New Mexico; mother and father-in-law, Bob and Linda Gates of Lakeside; brother-in-law, J. (Sandi) Gates of Queen Creek, Arizona as well as many extended family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his Nana and Tata. A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:00 A.M. Monday, September 8, 2014 at the St. Rita's Catholic Church, 1400 E. Owens, Show Low, Arizona.
