Richard James "Dick" Kennedy 82 passed away August 22nd 2014 at the home of his Daughter, Stephanie, in Holbrook with his family by his side. Dick was a Korean War Army Veteran, A member of the 40 & 8, and a 60 year member of the American Legion post #37 where he served on the Color Guard. He was also a 40 year member of the Elks Lodge #2450. He was blessed with many Great Friends and loved them all dearly. He looked forward to morning coffee with the boys at Joe & Aggie's. He loved taking his bike out on a road trip with his good friends and family. He loved camping at the Elks campground on the holidays, so you can bet he will be there this weekend. He also loved fishing with his Grandkids when fishing was allowed at Cholla Lake. He was preceded in death by his Daughter Cynthia Tafoya, Niece Michelle Cortiania and Granddaughter Tiffany Golsarry. He is survived by his Sister Donna Beaver (David, Tamara); Cindy's children Gregory and Trisha; Daughters, Stephanie Kennedy, ( Avery, Allison, Brandon) Cheryl Brogdon (Neal) (John Paul, Athena), Monica Kennedy (Hunter, Samara) Sons, James Kennedy (Thena) ( Brittany, Michael, Jocelyn, LaCruze), Michael Kennedy (Kathleen, Kristopher, Nolan, Fantasy) and 31 Great Grandchildren. Services will be held Saturday August 30th at 2:00 pm at the Elks Lodge in Holbrook. Interment will be at the Holbrook Cemetery and a reception will follow at the American Legion. In Lieu of Flowers please help out a Veteran in need and make a new friend. Be kind to Strangers and always say "Good Morning" with a smile. "Old Bikers never die they just ride away!"
