Seth Adam Lavender

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of our son, brother, and friend Seth Adam Lavender. He was taken home to the angels on August, 5th 2014. Seth was born on the morning of June 3, 1970 in San Jose, California. He is survived by his mother Shell Lavender, his brothers Samuel and Saul Bal, his sisters Sarah Bal-Brewer and Abigael Bal, as well as his companion Alyssa Minick Lawson and her daughter Marissa Brown. He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews, his extended brothers, sisters and their children whom he treated like his own, and his close friends. Seth lived in Arizona a majority of his life. He had also lived in California for a few years, but his roots were here in the White Mountains of Arizona. Seth was an amazing individual; he was a father, a brother, a son, a husband, a best friend, a musician, an artist, a nerd, and an ear to listen when you just needed someone to talk to. Whether you needed your heart fixed or your computer he was your guy. Everyone knew of Seth's passions for his music, art, family, friends, horticulture, and his online family. Seth always helped anyone that needed it. Though he is not survived by any living biological children; Seth had many "children" he helped raise that are still a part of his family. He had the ability to lighten anyone's mood. Those who knew Seth, know that his big heart engulfed everyone around him. Seth's memorial services will be held at the Main Street Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on Saturday August 9th 2014 at 1:00 PM. in Snowflake Arizona.
