Imogene McGee

January 25, 1927 — July 27, 2014

Imogene McGee, of Snowflake, Navajo County, Arizona peacefully passed away on July 27, 2014 in Snowflake. She was 87. Imogene was born the last of 12 children to the late, Arthur and Maggie Jane (Hughes) Blythe on January 25, 1927 in Gowen, Latimer County, Oklahoma. Imogene loved music and was a talented singer. A loving mother, grandmother and friend she will be dearly missed by all. She is survived by her daughter, Regina Countryman of Lakeside, Arizona; 2 grandchildren, Matthew and James McGee and 4 great-grandchildren. A viewing will be held at the Shadow Mountain Mortuary, 2350 E. Greenway Road, Phoenix, Arizona from 6:00-8:00PM Tuesday August 5, 2014. Graveside services will be held 10:00AM Wednesday August 6, 2014 at the National Cemetery of Arizona, 23029 N. Cave Creek Road., Phoenix, Arizona.
