Olive Edmee Stahl, of Overgaard, Navajo County, Arizona peacefully passed away surrounded by her family on June 25, 2014 in Lakeside, Navajo County, Arizona. She was 97. She was born, the baby of the family, to her parents, the late George J. and Ida (Bercot) Poirier on February 25, 1917 in Bay City, Bay County, Michigan. She was preceded in death by her husbands, David E. Crist and Melvin Stahl; a son, Gary C. Crist; brother, Laurence Poirier and 2 sisters, May Allec and Lorena Robbins. She is survived by her son, David G. Crist and wife, Rosalyn Joy; daughter-in-law, Wilma Crist; 4 grandchildren, Randall D. Crist and wife, Donna, Scott M. Crist and wife, Pamela, Gary Lee Crist and wife, Shannon, Lorri Raney and husband, Alan; 10 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandson. Olive raised her sons in Yorba Linda, California on a citrus farm. She lived in Somerton and Yuma, Arizona for 45 years where the family continued to farm citrus. In 2005 she moved to Overgaard, Arizona with her son David. During her lifetime she was a book reviewer and volunteer for the Yorba Linda Library and worked for several years for the Sunkist Citrus Exchange in Yuma. She was an avid quilter and made quilts for all the family members. A private family memorial will be held at the gravesite in Yuma.
