Edward Wayne Alldredge, long time resident of Taylor, passed away May 25th, 2014 at his home at the age of 62 after a long battle with cancer. Ed was born September 10, 1951 in McClainsboro, Illinois. In his younger years Ed drove cross country for Allied Vanlines. He then moved with his family to Taylor, Arizona in 1977 where he was employed at the Snowflake Paper Mill for 3 years. He then went to work for the Union Local 428, running heavy equipment for 26 years. He retired in 2010. Ed was a well known "wheeler-dealer" to all that knew him. He really enjoyed buying, selling and trading vehicles. Ed was a loving husband, brother, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He will truly be missed by all that knew and loved him. Ed is survived by his wife: Sherry Alldredge, sister: Cleta Morris, brother: Monty Brownlee, children: Robin (Allen) Northern, Sheila Thurman (Louis Villa), both of Show Low, Sherry (Vic) Love, of Taylor, Wayne Alldredge (Roxann Waits) of Show Low, and Jennifer (Rodney) Malone of Globe. Grandchildren include: Allen, Brandie, Ye'Vette Northern, Sherry Rose McCullum, Sasha, Lucas, Zepplin Thurman, Joslyn Alldredge, Shawn Boyd, Justin, Kylie, Jared, and Samuel Alldredge & Thomas Malone; and 13 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his stepfather James Brownlee, his mother Ann Lee Brownlee, and son, Randy Wilson. A family service will be held at a later date.
