Gloria Mae Locke

Gloria Mae Locke, age 86, passed into the Lord's hands on May 30, 2014 after an extended illness. She was born in Milo, ME to Phillip and Leola Morin. She was raised in Maine and graduated from Hussin College with a secretarial degree. She married the love of her life, John Locke, February 17th, 1948. And to this union, they bore three children. John was stationed at Loring AFB, ME until 1958 when they moved to Tucson, AZ. Upon retirement, they moved to Pinetop, AZ where they resided for the rest of their lives. Gloria enjoyed gardening, reading, entertaining, and especially square dancing where Gloria and John served as President of the White Mountain Rim Rompers Square Dancing club for several years. She is survived by Carolyn Dunten, Ft. Walton Beach, FL; David Locke (Rene`) of Vail, AZ; and Bob Locke (Kay), of Pinetop, AZ. She is survived by 8 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, John, and sister Marilyn. Services will be held at St. Mary of the Angels in Pinetop on June 7, 2014 at 11:00 A.M., followed by a luncheon in the hall. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hospice Compassas of White Mountain Safe House.
