William "Bill" Alma Miller, 85, of Show Low, Arizona passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, May 31, 2014. He was born In Williams, Arizona on June 22, 1928 to his parents, the late Edward Frederick and Theresa Madril Miller. Bill started his career in the propane industry in 1948 in Wickenburg, Arizona, working with Fannin's Gas Company. He, with his wife and two daughters, moved to Show Low in 1960, where he was a plant manager and instructor, teaching many classes about propane and meters. He retired from Ferrell Gas in 1996. Along with his parents, Bill was preceded in death by his wife, Phyllis Jean Stone Miller; daughter, Marlene Hatch; brothers: Sheldon Joy Miller, Edward Miller and a great-grandson, Callin. He is survived by his son-in-law, Ben Hatch of Winslow, Arizona; daughter, Kathi (Charlie) Hatch of Safford; 5 grandchildren: Yvette (John) McCleve of Mesa, Michael (Tara) Hatch of Queen Creek, Burt (Sarah) Hatch of Queen Creek, Jared (Kobie) Hatch of Taylor, Ryan Hatch of Flagstaff; 19 great-grandchildren; his amazingly remarkable caretaker, Edith Cornejo as well as Sylvia and Sara. The public visitation will be 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M., Friday, June 6, 2014 at Owens Livingston Mortuary - White Mountain Chapel, 320 N. 9th Street in Show Low, Arizona. The funeral service will begin 10:00 A.M., Saturday, June 7, 2014 at the Centennial Chapel of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 800 N. Centennial Boulevard in Taylor, Arizona where additional visitation will begin 1 hour prior. The concluding service and interment will immediately follow at the Reed S. Hatch Memorial Cemetery in Taylor, Arizona.
