Carol Clark, 90, our sweet mother, grandmother and friend passed away peacefully at home in Snowflake, AZ on Monday, the 26th of May 2014. She was a valiant, strong lady in life and still continues that quest. Carol was born the 6th day of August, 1923 to Amyot Willard and Hilda Elizabeth Wheeler Cherrington in Springville, Utah. She graduated from Springville High School and attended Utah State University. On the 4th day of October, 1945 she married her high school sweetheart, Glen Fred Clark in the Manti Utah Temple. Carol was very proud of her heritage. She dedicated herself to her family and the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She spent many years in church service. She and Glen served a mission in Portland, Oregon. A highlight of her life, second to marriage and family, was serving with her husband in the Mesa and Snowflake Arizona temples as ordinance workers. Over the years Carol enjoyed many activities including: family history, knitting, sewing, family parties, old movies and long walks. The theme of her life was her testimony of her Savior, Jesus Christ, she loves Him and has earned her sweet rewards. She will be truly missed by all and we look forward to a happy reunion someday. Carol is survived by her children Karen Larson of Snowflake, Joyce Power (Lyle) of Show Low, John (Suzan) of Oxford Mississippi, Mary Shumway (Rex) of Winslow, Vicci Giger (Jim) of Show Low and 30 grandkids, 76 great-grandkids and 8 great-great grandkids.
