Lavieve Rogers Geiger of Snowflake, Arizona passed away peacefully on Monday, May 5, 2014. She was born in Snowflake, Arizona to Wilford and Wilmirth Rogers on November 24, 1924. Lavieve married Leland Ray Geiger, the love of her life for 56 years, on October 15, 1941 in Snowflake. They were later sealed in the Mesa Arizona Temple. They are the parents of seven children: Steven Leland Geiger (Carole), Carol Lee Sherwood (James), Lola Ann Geiger (deceased), Luana Solomon (Ronald), Glenda Elaine LaBrake (William), James Wilford Geiger (Verda) and Leland Ray Geiger Jr. (Jackie). Lavieve spent many years in service to her family, friends & church. She served as Relief Society President, Primary Stake Board, Primary Teacher, Homemaking Leader and worked with the youth. She is survived by two sisters Lorna Johnson (Wendell) of Colville, Washington and Mary Lue Barnes (Kenneth) of Snowflake, Arizona; Six Children, Forty-one grandchildren, one hundred twenty-eight great grandchildren with four on the way, seventeen great-great grandchildren with two on the way. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, May 10, 2014 at the Main St. Chapel of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints at 48 N. Main St. in Snowflake Arizona at 3:00 P.M.. A public visitation will begin 1 hour prior. Arrangements were handled through Owens Livingston Mortuary in Snowflake, Arizona.
