David Charles Sheffield

David Charles Sheffield, of Show Low, Navajo County, Arizona passed away on Friday, May 2, 2014 in Show Low. He was 60. David was born on November 11, 1953 in Rochester, Ulster County, New York. David was a Veteran of the United States Army having served in Germany for a few years before he was honorably discharged. Following his time in the service he returned to the states. In 2002 David moved to Show Low where he resided until his passing. David was an avid woodworker and enjoyed making many works of art for his friends. He excelled at carving wood and found most joy in the many teddy-bears he would make for others. He was a member of the United Methodist church in Show Low where he was active in many church functions. He volunteered his time at the White Mountain Community Food Bank in the Living Water Community Church for many years. Private services have been planned. In lieu of flowers donations have been requested to the White Mountain Community Food Bank, PO Box 805, Lakeside, Arizona 85929.
