In loving memory of Vera Cruz Lupe. First lady of the White Mountain Tribe for 32 years. She was born on October 3, 1935. She entered the gates of heaven on May 3, 2014. Vera is survived by her husband of 58 years, Tribal Chairman Ronnie Lupe. Her children: Jackie Lupe, Geraldine Lupe, Caroline Lupe, Vonda and Ryan Larzelere, Monte and Meldena Lupe. 20 grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren. One sister: Eva Lupe and one brother Patrick Cruz. Many nieces and nephews and 5 God-daughters. She is preceded in death by her son, Titus Monte Lupe. All Tribal dignitaries, gospel singers and speakers are welcomed. Please join us as we honor Vera by wearing traditional attire on Thursday. A two day wake is scheduled to begin at 10:00 am on Thursday, May 8, 2014 at the Lupe residence ( 205 No. 5th Ave.)in Whiteriver, Arizona. The funeral service will begin at 1:00 pm on Saturday, May 10, 2014 at the high school activities center in Whiteriver, Arizona. Burial will follow at the Dove Cemetery in East Fork, Arizona. Services were handled thru Owens Livingston Mortuary-White Mountain Chapel in Show Low, Arizona.
