Phyllis Paxson

We the family of our beloved wife, sister, mother, aunt, grandmother and friend would like to announce the home going of Phyllis L. Paxson. Born in Cibecue, Arizona on August 21, 1928 and has gone home to be with the Lord on Saturday morning, April 26, 2014 in Whiteriver, Arizona. Phyllis loved to sew, pick corn, cook and spend time with her family. She also loved the Lord, always attending services where ever it may be (i.e. Cibecue, San Carlos, Bylas, Socorro, New Mexico, Red Mesa, Arizona just to name a few of many places). She was taught under the late Bishop Samuel Harris of San Carlos, Bishop Dennis Massey of Canyon Day and currently Dr. Timothy Hinton, Sr. of Seven Mile Miracle Church. A devout servant of God, Phyllis has chosen God to be her first and her last love as she went home praising her Lord and Savior. Phyllis is survived by her husband of over 40 years: Minor Paxson; sister: June Antonio, brothers: Roger Burdette, Callis Lupe; her children: Rulah and Pastor Floyd Dosela, Texter Nosie, Sr., Darrow Nosie, Joyce and Lanson Nosie-Lupe, Valena (Nosie) and Howard Massey, Rovene and Patricia Nosie, Franco and Carrie Nosie and Leon Nosie. Phyllis will be brought back home to her residence at 1910 Ft. Apache Road in Seven Mile on Friday, May 2, 2014 at 10:00 am. A memorial singspiration and celebration of her life will be on Saturday, May 3, 2014 at 4:00 pm. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, May 4, 2014 at 1:00 pm at the Seven Mile Miracle Church with Dr. Timothy Hinton, Sr. officiating. Burial will be at Whiteriver Cemetery. Owens Livingston Mortuary-White Mountain Chapel of Show Low, Arizona is handling the services.
