Denny Clark Green drew his final breath on the early snowy morning of April 3, 2014 at his home. He was 75 years old. Denny was born on July 1, 1938 in Severy (population 259) Greenwood County, Kansas to his parents, the late Orvelle Ore and Sylvia Lenora (Ebberts) Green. His time on earth may be over but, his soul will carry on with great adventures in Heaven. Throughout his long working career, Denny worked as a "Transportation Engineer" and enjoyed traveling the open roads. He loved to be in the Great Out-of-Doors and went on countless hunting, fishing and camping trips with family and friends. His family was always his priority and he loved spending time with each member of it. Ever since he was a little boy, Denny enjoyed watching Western movies; as he was a true cowboy at heart. He also had an incredible sense of humor that will be missed by everyone whom has had the privilege of calling him "friend." Denny is survived by his wife, Charlotte Green, formerly of Cortez, Colorado; 3 daughters: Jacque Nichols, Rhonda Lee, Harley Wiley; 1 brother, Frank Green; 1 sister, Orvella John; grandchildren: Josh Green, Baylee Nichols, Ryen Steele, Brooke Masters, Brittney Miracle, Brandon Fabella, Nathan Driffill, Alicia Driffill, Amanda Driffill; 9 other grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his sons: Boyd Green, Denny "Tyke" Green, Jr., a brother, Dallas Green and a great-granddaughter, Abigail. A special memorial service for Denny will be held during the summer months when his whole family will be able to gather together. They are thankful for all of the expressions of sympathy they have received during this difficult season and are especially grateful for all of the prayers offered up on their behalf.
