Jasper Colelay Jr., of Whiteriver, Navajo County, Arizona passed away on April 1, 2014 in Whiteriver. He was 40. Jasper was born to his parents, Jasper Sr. and Lucivia (Massey) Colelay on July 22, 1973 in Whiteriver, Arizona. Jasper attended and graduated from High School in Kicking Horse, Montana. Following high school he attended the Apollo College in Phoenix graduating with an Associates Degree in Automotive. Jasper was a true family man. He loved spending time with them during various parties, barbecues and family outings. He loved the outdoors and tried spending as much time as possible in the mountains he loved to call "home." Jasper had 4 children, Keyano, Shavon, Megan, and Delcivia, with Evonne Tom Colelay, with whom he remained extremely close, even after their separation. He is survived by his children, Keyano, Shavon, Megan and Delcivia Colelay; granddaughter, Santiayana Colelay; mother, Lucivia (Massy) Colelay; sisters, Henrietta (Everette) George and Maria Lupe; brothers, Bryson Kane and Jas L. Colelay as well as many extended family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his son, Santiago Colelay; father, Jasper Colelay Sr. and brother, Telajo Colelay. A two night wake will begin 10:00 AM Saturday, April 5, 2014 at the family residence, 205 W. Willow St., Whiteriver, Arizona. Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Monday, April 7, 2014 at the Canyon Day Miracle Church in Canyon Day with the interment to follow in the Whiteriver Cemetery, Whiteriver, Arizona.
