Rupee Danford, age 92, passed away on Monday, March 10, 2014 at Haven of Show Low Care Center. She was born on August 4, 1921 in Cibecue, Arizona to Theodore Peaches and Bertha Josay Peaches. Rupee has been an active member of the Pentecostal Church since 1957; she was always praying to the Lord and was devoted to studying her Bible. She loved to sew, make camp dresses and enjoyed cooking. She was a generous person who was always willing to help family and neighbors. She is survived by her son: Leo Tessay. 4 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren. 2 sisters: Carmalita Childs and Darlene Tessay. A 2 day wake will begin on Friday, March 14, 2014 at 10:00 am at the family residence in Cibecue ( 16 E. 2nd St.). The funeral service will be at 1:00 pm on Sunday, March 16, 2014 at the Cottonwood Gym in Cibecue. The burial will follow at the Shadow Mountain Cemetery in Cibecue. The services were handled thru Owens Livingston Mortuary-White Mountain Chapel in Show Low, Arizona.
