Kella Irene Boyer, of Casa Grande, Arizona, formally of Show Low, Arizona passed away on Saturday, February 15, 2014, after suffering from a brief illness. She was 74 years old. Irene was born to her parents the late, Eugene "Pat" and Veva Ann McClelland on April 25, 1939 in Golden, Missouri. Irene is survived by her best friend and loving husband, Ken Boyer of Casa Grande, Arizona; son, Casper (Kelly) of Show Low, Arizona; daughter, Tina of Phoenix, Arizona; 6 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren; sister, Marge Rice of Casa Grande, Arizona; brothers, Lynn (Shirley) McClelland of Springfield, Missouri, John (Rita) McClelland of Seligman, Missouri, Bill (Judy) McClelland of Eureka Springs, Missouri, Larry (Diane) McClelland of Eureka Springs, Missouri; sister-in-law, Oleta McClelland of Springfield, Missouri and many, many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Gerald. Irene loved cooking, traveling and reading. She loved collecting Indian jewelry and baskets. Irene's biggest joy was her grandkids. Nothing brought her greater joy than being surrounded by them at family gatherings. Irene was a very loving person and a wonderful wife and helpmate. She will be greatly missed by her family. A visitation will be held from 5:00PM-6:00PM on Friday, February 21, 2014 at the Owens Livingston Mortuary~White Mountain Chapel, 320 N 9th St., Show Low. Funeral services will be held 11:00AM Saturday February 22, 2014 at the Show Low Stake Center of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 1401 W. Deuce of Clubs, with additional visitation 1 hour prior to services. Interment will follow at the Show Low Cemetery.
