Nellie Mae McGown, of Linden, Navajo County, Arizona passed away surrounded by her loving family on Valentine's Day February 14, 2014 at her home in Linden. She was 76. Nellie was born to her parents the late, William D. and Dona (McFarlin) Morley on August 26, 1937 in Clayton, Union County, New Mexico. She enjoyed sewing and crafting but her favorite hobby was collecting antiques and going to a good yard sale. She loved her family and was very proud of them. A loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother Nellie will be missed by all but none more than by her own family. She is survived by her loving husband, Marshall McGown of Linden, Arizona; sons, Johnnie Ray McGown of Show Low, Arizona, Jerry Dean McGown of Show Low, Arizona; Kenneth James (Natsuda) McGown of Show Low, Arizona, Norman Daniel McGown of Linden, Arizona; 9 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren; sisters, Betty Marie Morley and Frankie Oleta Marler Morley. A visitation will be held from 4:00-6:00PM Tuesday February 18, 2014 at the Owens Livingston Mortuary~White Mountain Chapel, 320 N. 9th St., Show Low, Arizona. Funeral services will be held 1:00PM Wednesday February 19, 2014 at the Burton Baptist Church in Burton, Arizona with an additional visitation 1 hour prior to the services. Interment will follow in the Burton Cemetery in Burton.
