Dena Marie "Ree" Ethelbah, of Whiteriver, Navajo County, Arizona entered eternal rest on February 5, 2014 in Mesa, Maricopa County, Arizona following a lengthy illness. Ree was born to her parents, the late, Marvin R. and Josephine (Paxson) Ethelbah in Whiteriver, Arizona on January 3, 1981. Ree had an immense love for her family and friends. She was quick to defend people and loved to laugh and tell jokes. Her sense of humor was outstanding. A great cook, Ree was always helping with many family meals. She worked hard towards her Associates Degree in the medical field where she enjoyed helping others. She was baptized as a member of The Church of Jesus Christ in Lakeside, Arizona on October 14, 2012, something she was very proud of. A beautiful person, Ree will be missed by all. She is survived by her son, Aneas Rodney "Andy" James of Show Low, Arizona; siblings, Dorothy Tyler, Becky Ethelbah, Noreen Katy Aday (Lee), Rhonda D. Ethelbah, Roland Ethelbah, Cieyah Lupe (Randy), Marilyn R. Ethelbah, Doreen E. Gatewood (Tim), Sylvia Kidd (Andy) and Shaunna E. Hawkins (Daniel); biological brothers, Nicholas Ethelbah, M. Isiah Thomas, Mangas Thomas, Keith Hinton and Terrel Hinton. Funeral services will be held 10:00AM Monday, February 10, 2013 at the Canyon Day Miracle Church in Canyon Day, Arizona with the interment to follow in the Whiteriver Cemetery in Whiteriver, Arizona.
