Anna "Nancy" Miller

Anna "Nancy" Miller, age 79, passed away on Sunday, February 2, 2014 at Angel Wing's Assisted Living in Vernon, Arizona. Nancy was born on July 12, 1934 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to James J. Gilson and Annie Givins Gilson. Nancy married Harold A. Miller on February 13, 1954 in Philadelphia, PA. Hal, who was in the United States Army and was sent to Germany. Nancy moved to Germany with their daughter Karen in 1955 to join Hal. They returned to the United States in 1956. Nancy loved to do crossword puzzles and to go hiking. She also volunteered at Summit Healthcare for 9 or 10 years. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother and friend to all. She is survived by her husband: Hal. Her children: Karen Ann Shannon, Susan Elizabeth (Ron) Hickman, David James (Debbie) Miller and Matthew Edward (Carey) Miller. 5 grandchildren. A sister: Marjorie (James) Mann. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 am on Thursday, February 13, 2014 at St. Rita's Catholic Church, 1400 Owens St. in Show Low, Arizona. Arrangements were handled thru Owens Livingston Mortuary-White Mountain Chapel of Show Low, Arizona.
