E. Marion Snyder

December 4, 1935 — January 25, 2014

E. Marion Snyder, of Concho, Apache County, Arizona peacefully passed away following a lengthy illness on January 25, 2014 at the Haven of Show Low in Show Low, Navajo County, Arizona. She was 78. Marion was born to her parents the late James Henry and Ethel Mae (Lindsay) Sanger in Woodburry, New Jersey on December 4, 1935. Marion lived in Pennsylvania for many years before moving to the White Mountains. She was a long time Sunday school teacher and member of the choir at the Salem UCC in Jacobus, Pennsylvania. She was an avid genealogist, gardener and crafter enjoying painting, quilting and sewing. She worked for Bendix Inc. and YIS Inc. in York, Pennsylvania before moving to the White Mountains where she was employed for Brown Insurance in Show Low. Marion is survived by her husband, Leon C. Snyder of Concho, Arizona; daughter, Susan Lindsay of London, England and 2 sisters, Betty Harbold of York Haven, Pennsylvania and Joan (Terry) Hale of York, Pennsylvania. Funeral services will be held 1:00PM Tuesday February 4, 2014 at the Salem UCC Church, 24 Franklin St., Jacobus, Pennsylvania with a viewing at 12:00 Noon interment to follow in the Susquehanna Memorial Gardens in York, Pennsylvania.
