Phillip Leslie Brown

Phillip Leslie Brown, age 66, passed away on Wednesday, January 22, 2014 at the Haven of Show Low Care Center in Show Low, Arizona. He was born September 19, 1947 in Porterville, California to Millard and Iva Hyatt Brown. Phil loved to fish, ski and spend time in the out of doors observing and enjoying nature. He particularly loved to spend time fishing and camping at Lake Powell. He hand raised 100's of kittens for the Humane Society. He was a civil engineer in Texas, Indiana and California. After retiring from engineering, he worked as a real estate agent in the White Mountains. He is survived by his wife: Barbara Brown of Lakeside, Arizona; a daughter: Angie Havicon of Orlando, Florida; a son Mitch Brown of Lakeside, Arizona; a sister and 2 brothers: Jan Weisner, Jody Brown and Don Brown, all of Missouri. 2 grandchildren: Abby and Hannah Havicon. No public services are planned at this time. Arrangements were handled thru Owens Livingston Mortuary-White Mountain Chapel of Show Low, Arizona. Family requests donations be made to the Humane Society.
