She was a member of East Fork Lutheran Church in Whiteriver, where she developed a strong faith in God. She was well-known for her friendly, outgoing personality and warm smile. She spoke three languages: Navajo, Apache and English. An avid University of Arizona Wildcats fan, Angie attended games and wore team colors and logos. She loved spending time with her family, which includes four children and five grandchildren. She enjoyed traveling, playing card games and listening to country artist George Jones. In her heyday, Angie liked to run. Her favorite meal was mutton stew.
