Garry Morris Begay

Garry Morris Begay, of Indian Wells, Navajo County, Arizona passed away following a lengthy illness on December 5, 2013 at the Mayo Hospital in Scottsdale, Maricopa County, Arizona. He was 48. Garry was born February 26, 1965 in Keams Canyon, Navajo County, Arizona to his parents Cecil and Mable (Morris) Wilson. Garry was an avid sports fan especially volleyball. He loved to decorate and cook as well as traveling. He was a lover of all kinds of animals and was very fond of horses. He enjoyed attending traditional ceremonies and was very proud of his heritage. Garry was a very kind and humble man. A very carefree person, Garry enjoyed life and was a very thoughtful person. He will be missed by all whom had the opportunity to have known him. Garry is survived by his mother, Mable Begay; 3 sisters; 2 brothers and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Cecil Wilson and grandparents, Betty and Hosteen Begay. Funeral services will be held 10:00AM Monday, December 9, 2013 at the Holbrook Stake Center of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 1127 Helen Ave., Holbrook with graveside services to follow in the Holbrook Cemetery.
