"Moms want people to Always pray to have Eyes that see the best in people, a Heart that forgives the worst, a Mind that forgets the worst and a Soul that NEVER loses faith in God. - Author Unknown Ruby Gay Love Plumb, a loving wife and mother returned to her Heavenly Father on Saturday, November 30, 2013. She was born on April 7, 1948. Ruby is now free of pain and suffering. Ruby was a giver and she cared for many people over the years. She was a homemaker, which was a fulltime job. She grew up in Douglas, Arizona, came to Taylor, Arizona and met her loving husband, Lane J. Plumb. They were married on November 24, 1966. Ruby served in many capacities through the years. She was a friend and 'mother' to many children as she was so generous with her compassion and lived, and loved, to help others. Ruby joined The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in 1975 and has always been a great missionary through tender acts of service and love to her community and family. She knew how to give 'tough-love' and her love was ALWAYS unconditional. Ruby loved the Savior and His Gospel. She served in the Relief Society of her ward as well as the Primary. She also served in the Genealogy Library and was the ward librarian. She possessed many talents and loved sewing, cooking, crafting, bird watching and collecting trinkets. "Her little tokens of giving will be missed but, we know she will always be there guiding us and giving in other ways." She is survived by her husband, Lane Plumb; 7 children: Jesse Lane Plumb and his children: Desiree, Chelsea, Brooke and Catherine; Katy Ann & Mel Chee and their children: Jessica (Craig) Williams, Venesa and Elder Preston Chee; Verner George Plumb and his children: Noah, Steven, Orion and Kyle; Billy Joe Plumb and his children: Christopher, Katelyn and Madison; A.J. Plumb; Howdy Wayne & Maggie Plumb and their child, Adrianna; Velda Kay & Scott Martin and their children: Natalie, Koen and Kota Bear. Ruby is also survived by her 3 sisters: Bertha Mae Allen, Ruthann Bell, Vicki Brokaw; 1 brother, Allen Love as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. She is preceded in death by her parents Alvin & Gwendolyn Love, two brothers, Dale & Jimmy Love and two sisters Ellen Moorehead & Patsy Thedford. A public visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 4, 2013 from 6:00-8:00 at Owens Livingston Mortuary - Heritage Chapel, 84 E. 19 S. Snowflake, Arizona. The funeral service will begin 1:00 P.M., Thursday, December 5, 2013 at the Love Lake Chapel of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 700 E. Love Lake Road in Taylor, Arizona where the visitation will begin 1 hour prior. The concluding service and interment will immediately follow at the Taylor Cemetery.
