Loving wife, mother and friend, Jesusita Paulsell, age 91, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her family with prayers of celebration. Susie was a very loving person who was good to everyone she met. She loved and accepted everyone; always caring for those in need. No one ever left her home hungry or feeling alone. Susie taught by example to her family and friends, always doing the right thing, caring for others and then teaching her family how to do the same. Susie had a very fulfilling life. She was a successful business woman who ran the Westend Liquor Store for more than 45 years. She is survived by her children: Lita (Fred) Slatton, Juanita (Donald) Mann, Betty (Roland) Mahan, Gloria Ortega, Morton R. (Jacqueline) Ortega, Rita Ortega, Paul (Jacki) Ortega, and Viola (Tom-deceased) Ortega. 15 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren and 1 great great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband, Tony Ortega and her second husband, John Paulsell, her son Tom Ortega, 2 brothers and 1 sister. A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday November 18, 2013 at 10:00 am at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Holbrook, Arizona. Inurnment will follow at the Holbrook Cemetery. Services were handled thru Owens Livingston Mortuary of Holbrook, Arizona.
