Lee Ash, 65, of Sun Valley, Arizona passed away peacefully into God's arms on Friday, October 25, 2013 while holding his wife's hand in the comfort of his home. He was happiest when he was fishing and hiking. His greatest joy was his dogs. He also deeply loved being a grandfather. His greatest pride was the fourteen years he spent driving a fuel tanker for Bradco in Holbrook, Arizona. He wants the world to know how blessed he was. Lee asked that we not be sorrowful on this day; but rather that we rejoice and remember his love of life. Survivors include his loving wife, Kathie; his beloved daughter, Tracy (Kenneth) Heck of Las Vegas, Nevada; son, Scott (Laura) Ash of Prescott, Arizona; step-daughter, Jennifer Ward of Tempe, Arizona; step-son, Michael (Lisa) Codding of Greeley, Colorado; step-daughter, Sherri (Chris) Weber of Texas, step-daughter; Heather Gonzales of Mesa, Arizona; eleven grandchildren and was expecting the first great grandchild in December. A celebration of Lee's life will be held on Saturday, November 9, 2013 at 10:00 A.M. at the First Assembly of God Church, 500 Mission Lane in Holbrook, Arizona. Lee requests, rather than flowers, that a donation be made to the Memorial Fund in the name of Lee Ash at Bank of The West. "Quack! Quack!"
