Linda Honhepiwey Johnson, of Snowflake, died Sunday, September 22, 2013 at Summit Healthcare Regional Medical Center in Show Low, Navajo County, Arizona following a lengthy illness. She was 73 years old. Linda was born in Mazatlan, Coaqhuaquilla, Mexico to her parents, the late Honhepiwey and Esparanza (Garcia) Johnson. As a young girl, Linda ventured out on her own and moved to Arizona in 1954. She was a homemaker throughout her life and was a quiet and unassuming woman. She was known to many in the neighborhoods where she lived and will warmly be remembered for how well she cared for her yard. She loved to water her lawn and always had some of the greenest grass this side of heaven. Linda is survived by her dear friend, Judy Hansen, who looked after her and cared for her needs. A private graveside service will be held at the Show Low Cemetery in Show Low, Arizona.
