Sharon Keith passed away in the early morning of Saturday July 20, 2013 in El Paso, El Paso County, Texas. It was unexpected, however, she had grown ill over the last several years and now she can rest in peace. Sharon was 70 years old. Sharon was born on Sunday, June 20, 1943 in Show Low, Navajo County, Arizona to her parents, the late Carl Marion West and Myrtle (Mills) West Loveless. Sharon was an artistic individual and made her living doing what she loved to do; working with flowers. She worked alongside her mother, Myrtle Loveless, at the original Show Low Flower Shop for several years before taking over the family business. Sharon owned and operated the shop for several years and supplied the community with beautiful floral arrangements for its weddings, funerals, proms, Mother's Day celebrations, Valentine's Days and every other floral event imaginable. After she sold the shop in the mid 1990s, she retired, as her health didn't permit her to work any longer. She had the opportunity to move in, and live, with her daughter, Ginger, and truly appreciated the special bond that the two shared. From that point on, Sharon was able to watch her grandchildren grow up and spend time with those whom loved her, so very much. Sharon was a woman who enjoyed working with her hands a lot. She loved to work on jigsaw puzzles and, over the years, put dozens and dozens of them together. She also enjoyed making "Dream Catchers" and "Ceramics" for her family. Ever young at heart, Sharon had a great skill playing her Nintendo DSI and enjoyed to pass time by coloring. Sharon was a very beautiful and loyal individual. She had a huge heart of gold, however, she could defintely "hold her own" and wouldn't take crap from anyone. She was always willing to try something new and had such a great sense of humor as well as sarcasm. More than anything, however, Sharon was a wonderful mother and grandmother to her family. She always enjoyed spending time with them and loved caring for their individual needs as she was able. She was loved much and will be missed greatly by everyone whom has had the privilege to call her Mother, Grandmother, Sister or Friend. Sharon is survived by her 6 children: David Adair of Holbrook, Arizona; Leslie (Richard) Nelson of Washington, Thomas Tomlinson (Laurie Forconi) of Show Low, Arizona, Ginger (Chuck) Boaz of El Paso, Texas, Elton Ketih of El Paso, Texas; 16 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren as well as 2 brothers: Ray (Linda) West and Reece (Sherri) Loveless. Along with her father and mother, Sharon was preceded in death by a grandson, Darrin Elwood in July of 2010; her step-father, Ralph Loveless; a brother, 2 sisters: Marian Hunt, Carolyn West and a brother, Gayle West. The public visitation for Sharon will be from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M., Thursday, July 25, 2013 at Owens Livingston Mortuary - White Mountain Chapel, 320 N. 9th Street in Show Low, Arizona. The funeral service will begin 10:00 A.M., Friday, July 26, 2013 and will also be held at Owens Livingston Mortuary. The concluding service and interment will immediately follow at the Show Low Cemetery. Memorial contributions to The Darrin Elwood Memorial Fund at any branch of Wells Fargo Bank has been suggested by her family. Those contributions will be used exclusively for underprivileged kids so they may take music lessons. Sharon's family is thankful for all the kindnesses extended to them during this difficult time and are especially grateful for all of the prayers offered up in their behalf.
